Greens are committed to working in partnership with Indigenous nations to address the legacy of colonialism and promote healing and “reconciliaction.”  We support implementing the recommendations of UNDRIP (the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples), DRIPA (the British Columbia Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act,  and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, creating a city that is inclusive and respectful of Indigenous cultures, languages, traditions, and rights.
