Pamela Dudas

Born in Vancouver, Pamela returned to make East Vancouver her home for most of her adult life. While holding a degree in Physical Education/Kinesiology, she has built a successful 35- year career as an accountant, combining fiscal responsibility with a passion for community wellness.

As President of Britannia Community Services Centre Society and board member since 2017, Pamela has gained invaluable insights into city processes and their impact on community needs. Her leadership spans multiple committees including Reconciliation, Finance, Planning & Development, Volunteer, and Pool & Fitness. This hands-on experience has shown her where the city can better serve its residents through meaningful community engagement and responsive governance.

With her experiences, Pamela is confident in her ability to connect with residents of the Britannia/Grandview Woodlands neighborhood, as well as with individuals from other neighborhoods, community center advocates, seniors, and transit advocates throughout the city.

Her vision for Vancouver focuses on: environmental action, social justice, and community well-being. She champions climate change initiatives through green energy adoption and carbon footprint reduction, while advocating for affordable housing solutions to address homelessness and ensure safe, stable housing for all Vancouverites. Understanding the connection between environmental and social sustainability, she actively supports food sustainability programs to reduce waste and improve community food security.

A champion for active living at all ages, Pamela leads by example. She represented Canada at the 2023 World Triathlon Multisport Championships in Ibiza, Spain, winning her age group. As a daily cyclist, she intimately understands Vancouver's transportation challenges and opportunities for creating a more accessible, sustainable city.

Her deep roots in Vancouver's diverse communities, commitment to environmental stewardship, and proven track record of leadership make her an ideal candidate to bridge community needs with practical, sustainable solutions.
