The well-being of people and communities is front and centre for the Green Party of Vancouver. Your Green City Councillors will work to:

• Create democratic and inclusive City-funded neighbourhood councils, allowing communities to provide input at the start of land use changes and development projects.

• Push for a city-wide plan that would allow residents from every neighbourhood to come together and decide what kind of city Vancouver as a whole should be.

• Make sure that public services like community centres, neighbourhood houses, parks and recreation, childcare, libraries, and police and fire services are keeping pace with the growth of the city’s population.

• Support investments in arts, culture and public spaces.

• Provide resources and money to tackle the opioid crisis.

• Expand opportunities for mental health and addictions treatment and housing outside of the Downtown Eastside.
