Lois Chan-Pedley (陳尚文) cares deeply about making sure our schools are setting up our young people for success. As a parent on the eastside, she sees gaps in the system where vulnerable children and youth could be better supported. Music & arts, food security, outdoor access, and a commitment to reconciliation are all areas that she wishes to push the district to improve on.
Lois served as the fundraiser and board chair for the Happy Corner Preschool Society and volunteers for the Eastside Family Place. She has also served as the Treasurer for the Britannia Parent Advisory Committee (PAC). When she’s not busy raising her young children, aged 4 and 6, she runs a web agency and works with many nonprofits and social enterprises in the city.
Her family immigrated from Hong Kong when she was 10. She’s lived in many different neighbours in Vancouver and now lives in Kensington-Cedar Cottage with her husband, two kids, and a dog.

Âm nhạc, hội họa, an toàn thực phẩm, vui chơi bên ngoài và sự cam kết tạo ra những sự hòa giải là những gì cô muốn thúc đẩy cấp quận cải thiện.
Gia đình cô đến từ Hồng Công khi cô được 10 tuổi. Cô từng sống ở nhiều vùng khác nhau ở Vancouver, và hiện nay đang sống tai Kensington Cedar cottage cùng với chồng, 2 con nhỏ và 1 chú chó.
