Green Party of Vancouver endorses Pete Fry for Mayor or Council in 2026 Municipal Election
VANCOUVER (OCTOBER 22, 2025) — Last night, members of the Green Party of Vancouver voted unanimously at a Special General Meeting to endorse Pete Fry as a Party nominee for the 2026 Vancouver municipal election. The endorsement authorizes Pete Fry to run for Mayor or City Council, with his final decision to be announced at a future date.
“Green members have given Pete Fry a strong mandate to continue his work for a greener, fairer, and more accountable Vancouver,” said Nick Poppell, Chair of the Green Party of Vancouver. “Pete has proven himself as a collaborative leader who delivers on housing, renters’ protections, and good governance. We are thrilled to endorse him.”
