2019 Vaisakhi Parade and Festival

The annual Vaisakhi Parade and Festival is on Saturday April 13th from 10am - 5pm in South Vancouver (Main Street between 49th & 51st Aves). The Green Party of Vancouver will be there with the Vancouver East Federal Greens and we need volunteers to help us out at our booth throughout the day.

Volunteer shifts start early as we will need to be there at 7am to set up; we will have 2 hour shifts throughout the day with take down starting at 4pm. Booths will be located at the Sunset Community Centre at 6810 Main Street (near 52nd Ave).

It is an amazing day hosted by KDS Ross Sikh Temple (Khalsa Diwan Society) celebrating the birth of Khalsa & the beginning of the harvest season in Punjab. There's incredible food in a great community and so much to see and do.

Please select a time slot and RSVP below if you have a couple hours to help out and our Volunteer Coordinator, Tracy Dundass, will reach out to you with more details.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you there.
