Green City Councillor Adriane Carr hosts Town Hall meeting in Marpole

In neighbourhoods across Vancouver, community planning processes and development decisions by Vancouver City Council have provoked a democratic crisis and raised the question: how much of a say should the citizens of Vancouver have over the shape their neighbourhoods will take over the coming years and decades?

Green City Councilor Adriane Carr wants to hear from YOU so that she can better represent your aspirations, expectations and concerns at the Council table. What is important and valuable to you about your neighbourhood, and how would you like to see it evolve over time? How would you like City Hall to consult with you and your neighbours prior to making major development decisions that significantly impact the character of the place you call home?

Please join Green Party City Councillor Adriane Carr together with former Vancouver City Planner Peter Burch and UBC professor Patrick Condon in this special Town Hall meeting where the focus is on your thoughts and your voice.

November 06, 2013 at 7pm - 9:30pm
Marpole-Oakridge Community Centre Auditorium, 990 W. 59th Ave at Oak
