Please join us on April 8th for the Green Party of Vancouver’s 2016 Annual General Meeting!
With more than a year under their belts, our elected caucus of Greens on Council, Park Board and School Board has accomplished much for us to be proud of. The AGM is an important time for the grassroots energy of the party to come together and reconnect with the people we all helped to elect while renewing our Board of Directors and direction as an important civic force in Vancouver.
When: Friday, April 8, 6:30-8:30 pm
Where: Native Education College, 285 E 5th Ave
Details: Election of Board Members, Financial and other Reports,
Updates by elected Greens on Council, Park Board and School Board.
Please mark April 8th on your calendar and be sure to invite a friend or two (they don’t need to be members to attend). RSVP below to give us an idea of how many attendees to expect.
Refreshments will be served.
At this year’s AGM, 6 two-year board director positions are open for election. To vote (and to be eligible to run for the Board) you’ll need to have been member for at least 14 days before the AGM. If your membership has lapsed within one year of April 8, you can renew ($10 for one year) in advance or at the door to be able to vote.
Have you considered joining the Board of Directors of the Green Party of Vancouver? The Green Party of Vancouver has a real opportunity to grow and represent residents’ interests and concerns. We need people with passion and a variety of backgrounds and skills to serve on the Board. To nominate yourself for the board, please submit an application at vangreens.ca/run_for_the_board.
We look forward to seeing you on April 8th!
